To find this cache you must first identify the trees at each of these coordinates. Go to the coordinates listed below and identify the tree at each location. Most of these will be trees standing alone. If there are a group of trees, identify the largest one. When you identify a tree, use it’s number to fill in the appropriate blank in the final coordinates. You will need to drive between each of these locations. Some of them you will be able to locate & identify from your car.
When I posted the “Know Your Trees” Cache in Pleasant Hill I received several E-mails wanting help. Trees are hard to identify in the winter. In “Know Your Trees West”, I selected trees with stronger all year long characteristics. It will be much easer to identify these trees even in the winter.
If you are a good scout, you will be able to read the "signs" which identify their type. Some of them are still tricky. There are some types of trees that you will find more than once.
