I stopped at this location once last summer, just after a thunderstorm, and the area was teeming with wildlife. The platform alone was worth the visit! A lot of work and creativity went into the creation of this facility. Please take some time to enjoy the area and information, and as always, please respect the environment and leave no trace of your visit (except for signing the log book of course). Better yet, do as I did today, and remove any trash you might find nearby.
The cache should be very easy to see IF you are in the right place, of course. There is no need to feel around for it...if you don't see it, you haven't found it yet. Do be watchful for mice and other small critters with homes in the many nooks and crannies, and please try not to disturb them...they were here first. Please take care to replace the container carefully so it won't unintentionally become dislodged.
