The Pony Express rider above is the iconic statue of St. Joseph,
MO. But it is far from St. Joseph's only outdoor work of art.
Pictured below ten other statues that can be found in St. Joseph,
and there are even more that aren't pictured here including a
veteran's memorial, police officer memorial, pioneer woman with a
wagon wheel, three children walking, a few virgin Marys, and
another Statue of Liberty (other than the one pictured below).
This cache is one of five caches in the "Explore St. Joe"
series. Information at this cache can be used to help find
"Explore St. Joe - Oriental Knolls - GC25AYY". To determine the
exact coordinates of this cache, you will need to do the
following:
1) Find the Pony Express statue shown above and the ten other
statues shown below. Note that each of the pictures below has a
letter in the upper left corner. If you do much caching in St.
Joseph, you will probably run across them all. Make note of the
latitude & longitude of each of these eleven locations.
2) Using math, measurement or divine inspiration :-), number the
statues below from 0-9 in order of the distance from the Pony
Express statue, with 0 being the closest to the Pony Express statue
and 9 being the farthest.
3) Replace the letters listed in the following coordinates with
it's associated number. The cache is at:
N39 4F.ICD
W94 4H.JCB
4) Find that cache!
