Here is your chance to meld the ABCs with Geocaching-
To claim this cache, you need to find and log 26 other caches, one
for each letter of the alphabet. All caches must be found in the
Central Texas Counties listed below ON or AFTER 1 January 1,2009.
Qualifying caches may be in the following counties:
Travis,Williamson, Burnet, Bastrop and Hays.
Here’s the process that you will have to follow to complete this
Challenge:
1. Create a public bookmark called “Central Texas ABC
Challenge”: Include this cache in your bookmark since you haven’t
found it yet, it doesn’t count – you will need another “C”
cache
2. Keep this bookmark public for a minimum of 1 month after
completing the challenge.
3. Include one qualifying cache you have found for each letter
of the alphabet
in the cache bookmark comments, include the date you found
the
cache. Caches found before January 1, 2009 will not qualify for
this Challenge.
Successfully find and log caches the names of which begin with each
letter of the alphabet. All caches except locationless
qualify.
Examples: The first letter in the title of the cache is the
qualifying letter.
Acquiring Satellites=A
Demise of a Dot Com=D
'20th' Hole= does not qualify for this challenge cache!
Twenth Century=T
A look at your alphabetized bookmark list will indicate if you have
each letter.
4. The posted coordinates are correct. But do not go there until
you have completed the entire alphabet.
5. This cache has been given this particular difficulty ranking
because I have no idea which caches you may choose to do for this
challenge, it will take some time to complete, and some planning as
well.
The cache is hidden in Downtown Austin, a high muggle area. Parking
during business hours will be difficult. Weekend parking will be
better except one morning. Take your camera.. GZ offers some nice
photo opportunities.
I hope you enjoy this twist to our mutual
hobby/passion/obsession.
Cache On!
