As the tale has it, many years ago through a labyrinth of caves and
mine shafts,
Fen Dweller visited our area. He only stayed a short time but
managed to mate with a local lass of unknown origin. A female was
born, Fena, the half breed spawn of Fen Dweller.
Now she prowls the underground haunts of Grand Rapids. Several
people have caught a glimpse of her, but nobody knows if she is
good or evil.
Do you dare to follow us as we seek to find Fena Dweller, the
half breed spawn of Fen Dweller?
Victim of Love
This is where we first learned of Fena. The police called us in
as "consultants", but that's just a fancy name they give us to
justify the high price they pay for our tracking abilities.
At the time we didn't know who or what we were tracking. The
police showed us to a bloody tore up patch of grass that is your
starting spot. Today all that remains here is a marble bench
commemorating the departed souls we were tracking that night.
As we searched the immediate area that dark and misty night more
clues became available. Hugh and Thelma Cowan were missing from
just up the street along with a young runaway they had taken in
some months before, Fena Dweller. The medical examiner determined
that from the amount of blood at the scene that most likely someone
was already dead.
The dogs quickly got their first scent of Fena right here but it
soon disappeared underground. When it surfaced less than a mile
away that's where we found the severely mutilated bodies of the
Hugh and Thelma. But no sign of Fena!
In the subsequent months of the investigation Fena's involvement
was questioned. The police had their suspicions but couldn't prove
she did it much less catch her.
See if you dare follow our trail as we searched for the two lost
souls and Fena that night. The neighbors know her by sight and say
she can still be seen here occasionally. Some claim she comes back
to dig up the missing body parts that were never recovered that
dark night nine years ago.
The above coordinates are for the marble bench. Start your hunt
here and then journey down the trail in search of Fena's
underground escape route. There, in the darkness, you will find a
clue to put you on her trail.
Don't be afraid, remember she hasn't hurt anyone yet ... that we
can prove!
Because this is an open murder investigation (and the fact we
are still in their employ) the local police have mandated that you
be made aware of this statement from them. We agree with it.
Consider yourself warned!
The family of Hugh and Thelma Cowan, in joint cooperation with
the East Great Falls Public Safety Department, are offering a
$25,000 reward for the arrest and capture of the fugitive, Fena
Dweller. She is to be considered dangerous and should not be
approached. If you sight her please call 911 and report her
location immediately. Because of the grisly nature of the crime and
the danger involved we recommend that the follow individuals NOT
TAKE PART in any pursuit: Children under 42 inches in height,
pregnant women, and all those with heart conditions. Your
cooperation is appreciated.
