Ok it's only 2 miles but it may seem like 20. The road to the cache evolves over time from smooth recently graded to washboard to deep swamp filled potholes. It is possible to walk, ride bikes or ATVs or even bum a ride on an airboat.
What ever your mode of transport, I suggest that you do it slowly. At one time or another I have observed Crested Caracara, Bald eagle, Otter, alligator, deer and all manner of heron and wading birds. It is completely wide open and safe. It is possible to abandon your vehicle and walk at any time if you like. The cache is a large cammoflaged ammo can.
