A good short hike for those that enjoy the easier hiking. This
cache gets you high enough to look back south toward I-40 and
across into the Cibola National Forest. The trails are good, many
to choose from with the last bit of the hike off-trail.
The first part of the journey by car will test your skills. The
Open Space parking is easy to find, but you may make a few wrong
turns in the Subdivision, however, the drive is worth making.
During the summer keep your eyes open for the biting critters
and slithering ground dwellers.
