A 1/3 mile walk/hike from the parking area, first half level through grass and second half in deep forest with some ups and downs.
My caches seem to be pretty easy so here is a harder one. Actually finding the container will be easy (it's not IN a stump, it's ON a stump) The hard part is getting to the cache.
This State of Washington Game Dept property is a buffer zone to the Nisqually Delta refuge. A few years back, it was owned by a private individual that negotiated to sell to F&W. When talks stalled, he clearcut along the road and began subdividing as witnessed by the big new homes you see. Then talks resummed and the sale was completed. You will pass replanting efforts with forests of 4" plastic pipe that will hopefully transform into trees and shrubs. Once you enter the forest, the reception becomes poor. However, beyond WP3, just follow the obvious land forms that the GPSr is guiding you to. Once at the cache site, it is plain that you are at the end and the container will be easily spotted.
Enjoy the view. It would make a fine picnic spot if so inclined.
