Geocache Description:

Fifth episode of MI6 - Cache Mission Secret Service Series (total of six caches) takes the geocacher through five contiguous parks of Nutley. This cache is located in Booth Park

- - - Mission Briefing - - -
MISSION: The situation is dire! Red alert! Our system of GPS satellites, computers, and receivers all operate via a key code and can track a target anywhere on Earth. The system deploys the satellite particle-beam weapon known as: PICASSO (Pathfinder Instruments for Cloud and Aerosol Spaceborne Observations).

As of 10 minutes ago, we have lost communications with PICASSO. With McMillan’s formula, the enemy is using a beacon to jam our signal and relay new commands to PICASSO. Locate the beacon and deactivate it!

MISSION INTEL: The beacon is located deep behind enemy lines. You will need to locate the four digit deactivation code.

MANDATORY GEAR: * G.P.S. receiver and extra batteries * Mission briefing document * Pen and personal log pad

OPTIONAL GEAR: * How-to-Save-the-Earth manual * Rubber boots * Bug repellant

ASSEMBLY AREA: We don’t care how you get there! Park at the following coordinates: N40 48.841 W74 09.614.

OBJECTIVE: Proceed to the coordinates above, another operator has left you a clue. You will have to know how to convert from decimal on your reciever.
Proceed to stage 2 and find a four digit number set ABCD (you know you have the right number because the digits add up to 20). Make sure it is a FOUR digit number, not a FIVE digit number. Seems the enemy has laid a decoy for unwary agents.
Plug the letters into the following coordinate N40 4C.CA0 and W74 09.B0A and proceed to the beacon. To deactivate it use the four numbers from stage 2. To replace the lock simply punch in the code again. If you cannot open the lock, just tell us the 5 letter word on the front and we will send another agent to do your dirty work!

HOSTILE ACTIVITY: Be discreet! Patrol dogs and guards are everywhere! It is imperative that you are not seen, heard, or discovered by the enemy. As Always, if you become lost, captured, or discovered, Cache Mission HQ will disavow any knowledge of you or your mission.

Other operators may be in the area, should you meet them use the code phrase: “Every child is an artist.” and they should reply: “The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.”

EXTRACTION: Extract only after you have completed the mission!

LAST WORDS: E-mail the deactivation sequence to Cache Mission HQ. An operator will direct you to proceed with a mission command log. Should the cache be compromised contact Cache Mission HQ immediately.

- - - Mission Briefing End - - -

Please submit your log AFTER you have received verification the deactivation sequence is authentic. PLEASE SUBMIT LOGS AS MISSIONS. Under no circumstances are you to post the deactivation sequence in your log. Operators who do so will have their logs terminated! Be safe and Good luck!
