Bow wow! to all you Alaskan Dogs from Durango's dog!

This may be the very first cache placed by a dog! I've followed my Master on many hikes and haven't once seen any toys or treats for us four-legged people. I growled to myself and yipped, "It is time for a Doggie Cache, for dogs only!" Each time my Master got me a new toy, bone, or other dog treat I carefully hid it away. Now I have a grrrrr-eat stash of goodies that will make you slather at the mouth! Get your human to buy a dog treat or NEW toy. (Yeah, I've got lots of old toys myself, but let's not share dog germs!) Then get your human to take you on a nice run along the coast. Believe me, the scent of that waste water plant is irresistable, and your two-legged friend will love the gorgeous view. Then you can enjoy a treat and trade me for something I haven't tried!Arrwoooo! -Lil Corgi

P.S. Bring a doggie picture for the cache too!

Cache original contents: log book, dog picture, pencils, roasted hoof, smoked pig ear, tennis ball, raw-hide bone, large baked dog bones, dog biscuits.

My cache buddies were very happy find this one! They were even happier to see they aren't the only Schipperkes out there as there are a couple pics of other Schips in the cache. We had a great time finding this one. After a lot of persistence and an indecisive GPS we did it. TNLN SL, TFTC!!!

Good hike through the woods, went to far down the hill and then
to far north and after letting the GPS catch up I did make the find.
I could have used some human treats, but only doggie treats.

Found our first cache! It was harder than I expected, but fun. Those dog biscuits had been there a few years!

Mrs AK_Howler and I found this very clever hide at about 65 ft elevation. Coord's were good to 15 ft accuracy on our GSRs. We found it while out bicycling along the Coastal Trail. TNLN SL TFTC!
