This hunt can be hiked, mountain biked, or done on horseback. You can go up and back down the same way or leave a car at N47 29.161 W121 42.049 and do a one-way through trip.
Take I-90 exit 34 and head North
Turn Right onto the Middle Fork Road, the last 3 miles are gravel
Park at N47 30.989 W121 36.727.
Then it's up the hill on the Bessemer road-trail. The elevation gain is a little more than 300 feet up to the old CCC road-trail at N47 31.645 W121 37.575. The CCC is more of a trail here than a road. You may have to do a little wading if Big Blowout creek is running high and once again near the cache. The cache is a 30 caliber ammo can placed about 15 feet off the trail. Check the spoiler picture if you think you will have trouble finding it.
