A Day at the Seaside. Traditional Geocache

In the North East of Scotland we are lucky to have so many fabulous beaches. This cache will take you one of the lesser known ones. Round trip is under 3km with a gentle climb of 97m on the way back. If the weather is nice why not take a pic

Parking is at the coordinates given below. This is on a southbound exit slip from the A90 but can be approached from Stonehaven, as well. Taking care to look for fast moving traffic cross the road to find your path towards the shore.

The path is, generally, good but parts can be muddy after rain and a little care is needed on a short section when you have reached the coast. There are some steps as the path heads under the railway bridge to the shore. Follow this path until you reach the coast and then head south to the cache which is a ‘Tupperware’ box in a black bin liner. When the business is done you should be ready for that picnic!
