MBeans: Well, it appears the cash (cache) has disappeared. It looks like some local children have built a fort in the same area where the loot was hidden.
However, I believe this is just a clever disguise for a larger conspiracy. I have my own theories of what may have happened to the money.
1) The Sheriff of Beanland disappeared as soon as he started on trail of the two theives. I believe he may have given up on trying to find Joe and his brother Clint and gone straight after the cash. He may have got greedy and kept it for himself instead of returning it to the people of Beanland.
2) Joe is locked in a Travel Bug prison in Alaska. So, I am sure he has nothing to do with it.
3) Clint was last spotted near San Diego and seems to have disappeared. I believe that he was just hanging low and has resurfaced in Winnipeg to claim the loot.
4) Joe's friend Mikey was in a Travel Bug prison here in Winnipeg. Somehow, he escaped and was briefly spotted in Georgetown, KY. He has also disappeared (possibly hanging low with Clint). He might have returned for the cache.
5) Mikey's girl Sherry admitted to finding the loot. However, she only took $200 in cash. She is currently hitch hiking in Germany.
Whatever the case may be, the money is gone and will not be replaced. Thanks to everyone who help track down the cache.
Also, congratulation to Ertyu, MHz & Gord from Morris, and Turtle eggs! They were the only cachers to discover the "Bonus Cache" from the serial number coordinates on the back of the bills.
