Geocache Description:


Manning's Chamber of Commerce asked me to help put on a geocaching event and this is it. They have secured 10 GPSr's from Sac County's extension that will be available to be loaned out.

There are 16 permanent caches in Manning and I will have 10-15 additional temporary caches for people to seek out.

The event will be held at the Manning Rec Center on the SW corner of Highway 141 and Center Street. We will start at noon with a short training course in the Rec Center's meeting room.

THE LOCATION OF THE EVENT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE SHELTER HOUSE AT THE CITY PARK. THE SHELTER IS TWO BLOCKS WEST OF THE REC CENTER. IT IS ACROSS THE STREET FROM CASEY'S ON HIGHWAY 141.

START TIME IS HIGH NOON!

Waypoint sheets and maps will be available. Hopefully, we will have the ability to download the waypoint into most GPSr units.

Cachers from Omaha and local area cachers are encouraged to attend and assist the newcomers. The help would greatly appreciated.
