Climbing Baldy won't make you grow any more hair, but it sure
gives you a nice view of McGregor Bay. Slap on some bugspray and
get hiking.
The ascent takes just over an hour and involves very little
climbing; just put one foot in front of the other. We carried our
3-year-old up last year and she walked it herself this time
around.
The cache is on the way up just outside the boundary of
Killarney park. Hopefully rational thought will prevail and the
province will allow caches in its parks again someday soon. In the
meantime, happy caching in McGregor Bay!
Need to cool off after your hike? Head across Iroquois Bay for a
swim and a second cache.
