MISSION: Bad news! The drop off agent is a traiter and has stolen our satellite key code. Locate the double agent and retrieve the satellite key code.
MISSION INTEL: This mission will take you deep into enemy territory. We know the double agent planted the receiver as a decoy. He is selling the key code on the black market to the highest bidder. We have tailed him to a meeting spot on Memorial Bridge. But before we moved in, he fled. In his haste he concealed the key code in a cache nearby.
OPERATIONAL GEAR:
* Standard issue lighting device * G.P.S. receiver and extra batteries * Mission briefing documents * Pen and personal log pad * Hang Glider * Bug repellant
ASSEMBLY AREA: It is preferred that you be inserted by glider, however, the landing zone is unmarked, so get there by any means at your disposal. The park is kid friendly and the cache can be done by bike. Park at the following coordinates: N40 49.259 W74 09.188
INSERTION: Proceed to the coordinates above and locate the memorial bridge. You will be tested on your receiver skills. Convert your distance unit from statute to metric and project a way point 392 meters, bearing 245 degrees. This projected way point should get you to an intersection of two pathways. Now pace off 10 meters South and the cache should be there. No more than one foot from the river. If you walk onto private property then you are going the wrong way! Locate the cache and copy the satellite key code (on the yellow key tag). Please replace the cache and keytag better than you found it!
HOSTILE ACTIVITY: Be discreet! Watch out for enemy patrols. It is imperative that you are not seen, heard, or discovered by the enemy. As always, if you become lost, captured, or discovered, Cache Mission HQ will disavow any knowledge of you or your mission. Other operators may be in the area, should you meet them use the password: "I just jumped out of a frying pan." The response should be: "I now stand in the fire."
EXTRACTION: We are working on a ATV extraction, but the vechicles are stuck, bug out on foot if the LZ becomes too hot
LAST WORDS: Please e-mail the satellite key code to Cache Mission HQ. An operator will direct you to proceed with a mission command log. Should the cache be compromised contact Cache Mission HQ immediately
- - - Mission Briefing End - -
We can not stress to you the importance of this mission.
Please submit your log AFTER you have received verification the satellite key code is authentic. PLEASE SUBMIT LOGS AS MISSIONS. Under no circumstances are you to post the formula in your log. Operators who do so will have their logs terminated! Be safe and Good luck!
