Geocaching HQ has challenged cachers to find one each of six types of souvenirs in August:
- A traditional
- Mystery or puzzle
- Multi-cache
- CITO or earthcache
- Event cache
- Virtual Cache, Wherigo, Letterbox Hybrid or Webcam Cache
This event is for folks who didn't make the Caching in the Cave event the previous weekend at Lost River Cave, for other locals who haven't had the chance to see each other and catch up in a while, and for newbies to get acquainted with other local cachers. We'll meet at a usual popular Mexican spot for some food, some frozen drinks and other libations, to socialize, and to get a badge.
We'll start our event at 6:00pm. If you arrive early, here are the closest caches of other types that you could use to finish the August challenge all at once:
Of course, there are many more around here, so run that PQ so if you don't attend Caching in the Cave, see if you can make this event the last badge you need for the challenge! If you've already finished the challenge you can come brag.
