Geocache Description:

If you call out to this bay, it may call back to you.

A Legend once told: many years ago, island dwellers would defend this area against Pirate attack. They would utilize a natural defense: A madrona tree shaped as a sling shot. (Hence the nickname "Slingshot Cove"). They cooked plankton with tree sap to create a rubber-like flexible means to launch red cannonballs at Pirates. If you imagine stretching back such a device, the hidden treasure lies where you would need to stand to launch the cannonball.

The red coffee container cache wrapped in a plastic bag began with: sunglasses, adjustable wrench, whistle, toy orca whale, keychain light, XS Energy Drink, jet plane, popcorn, wooden nickel, caribeaner clip and the log book with a pen and pencil.
