Long Lake - One of KB's favorite parks GCKBGW Traditional Geocache

Grey Wolf and Wild Rice: [green]Based on recent logs, I suspected that something was missing here. Not the cache, but the 4 foot tall rabbit.

Since someone removed the big rabbit, I'm going to archive this one as it is no longer a large. Cache container and logsheet were removed today.

Geocache Description:


When King Boreas first started caching, his GPS only went out to hundredths for the minutes (ie: 2 digits to the right of the decimal point). When I first started caching in MN, I was not aware of this and was getting really frustrated when searching for his caches, especially in the summer when there was a swamp involved. I went caching one day with TECGeoJim and asked about KB's hides. He chuckled and told me about coordinates ending in 'zeros' and also taught me too look at the 'date hidden'. His advice was that if the cache was hidden in the winter, looking for it in the summer may involve wading........and possibly even swimming.
