Scientifically studying plants and animals in fossil form gives us knowledge as to how they have changed over time. Many archeological discoveries have been made in and around Michigan, including the Mastodon fossils and Native American leavings. Studying fossils can help us make educated theories about how the Earth has changed, and how rapid the change has happened. Maybe it can show us what kind of change is coming.

This cache is placed near an archeological dig site, can you spot it?
