Geocache Description:

Cache is a 1.5 litre piece box, Boots required as track can get quite muddy, Parking available at N56 19.160 W003 22.247 Torch could be handy.

Cache is situated In the Ochils Hills.

Track is the disused Caledonian Railways, Perth to Edinburgh Rail Line.

Bit spooky if you do this one, late evening just as the suns going down, with the deserted / derelict farmhouses and cottages either side of the track.

Most locals believe that the the track is Haunted!! with a Ghost Train!!

To quote one local:

“Ghostly noises are heard most nights, and strange screams are heard coming from the woods late at night, and dark figures and a headless phantom lurks around the abandoned tunnel, mysterious ghost campfires, marching ghost soldiers and sounds of long gone trains...........and the smell of soot is everywhere!"
