Geocache Description:

One of a series of caches that takes you to the four compass points of Ayrshire. You will need to find these caches to get the numbers for the final cache in this series. The final location has a cache box that was handed to GCAyrshire at the Mega Scotland event for the highland games tug o war, which we won without pulling a rope, the only other team did not show. These are walks that we do as a family, they may not all be wheelchair/buggy, friendly but are accessible 24/7 all year.

The other caches in this series are:

SOUTH - GC2GT9E
EAST - GC2GTBH
NORTH - GC2GTBV
CENTRE - GC3AEPW

For this cache you can approach from either Irvine or Troon. It is on the Ayrshire Coastal Path that runs along this part of the beach. This is a beach walk with great views across to the Isle of Arran and around the bay from Troon Harbour to Ardrossan. Wildlife is abundant, both out to sea and amongst the many sand dunes.
Beware of the ever present muggles and their duggles as this is a very popular walk.

You are looking for a small blue tube, which is protected by a the cache 'SPRITE'. All will be revealed when you find the cache. Please replace cache exactly as found.
