It's Problematic Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

offline.cacher: The general rule reviewers use to archive a cache is that the cache owner has been notified (through a log entry) by the reviewer and that no response has been forthcoming. This is the case with this cache. As a result it has been archived.
If the owner would like to discuss this issue, please contact me through my geocaching.com profile. Include the GC code for the cache.

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the coordinates listed above. The coordinates are for parking near the trailhead to reach the cache. You must solve the problems below to obtain the coordinates of the cache.

Three Hunters

Three friends were hunting. Two of them, while fording a small stream, got their cartridge cases wet. The three friends divided what good cartridges remained equally.

After each had fired four shots, the total cartridges remaining were equal to the number each had after the division.

How many cartridges were divided?

How Old is Josh?

A long time ago, when skyscrapers weren't as tall as they are now, Great Uncle Josh was in town and got a kink in his neck trying to count the floors of the Stratosphere Building. However, he evolved a neat little problem out of his experience, which he sprang in his hometown barber shop, as follows:

"My years are greater by twenty-one than double the number of floors in the skyscraper, and if you will multiply one-tenth of my years by one-quarter the number of floors, the result will be my wife's age, and she admits to having lived only four-fifths of my time on earth."

How old is Great Uncle Josh?

Trains Meeting

Two freight trains, each 1/6 mile long and traveling 60 miles per hour, meet and pass each other. How many seconds is it between when the locomotives pass each other and the cabooses pass each other?

Let:
  • Number of cartridges = AB
  • Josh's age = CD
  • Time for cabooses to pass each other = EF seconds
The cache is located in St. Clair Brooks Park in southern Stafford County. The cache coordinates are:
