Geocache Description:

Nice area for a quick T/B switcharoo

Welcome to one of the finest views in this part of Land Between the Lakes. I would drive the old road many times before they widened it and get a quick glimpse of a killer view of the land to the west of LBL in Marshall County. When they finished project they made this pull off area from the westbound lanes and I could not resist taking a look. I highly recommend walking west along the ridge and taking in the view. Would be a great place to have a picnic on a sunny day. There is is even a small pond nearby, but I doubt any fish are in it, just your standard frogs, salamanders and things of that sort.

We made this cache in the hopes it could be a T/B drop off for those folks who want to drop travellers on thier way through LBL as access should be easy and it is not a hard find. You can park at the end of the blacktop in the gravel but you should not venture too much futher in a car as it can be very muddy. You are looking for a camo tape covered plastic jar. Initial contents are a log book and pencil, assorted swag and a T/B as well as a geocoin.
