Hidden in the Perch River Wildlife Refuge area this cache should be a good companion to 'Perch River Patriot'. I'm borrowing on mmakbenton's theme of 'Home is where the Army sends you', this cache will travel with me wherever the Army sends me.
Want to see something beautiful? Do this cache!!! Better yet, do this cache in the late evening and I guarantee that you'll see one of the most beautiful sunsets available to the North Country. This spot is so gorgeous I may have to replace The Nomad with a permanent cache once I take this one with me when I leave.
A letter box hybrid, this cache only contains a stamp, a logbook, and a camera. Please take a picture of yourself/group while you're there. Since it's a small ammo box, it's large enough to hold travel bugs and anything else one might want to leave behind.
This cache won't be in the North Country permanently. I'll be moving to Fort Rucker in lower Alabama in October of 2004. So, to borrow a phrase from mmakbenton: "Get it while you can!".
Overall difficulty and terrain difficulty will increase comensurate the level of foliage in the area. In the summer, prepare to bushwhack, although you won't have to bushwhack far, but it'll probably be thick.
This is a multi-cache in the sense that you'll have to find the 'Perch River Patriot' first before attempting this one. Somewhere on the outside of the can to 'Patriot', you'll find 4 numbers. I suggest you write them down, you will need them here.
