If you happen to be this far from the freeway, then this will be a
quick stop in any season, whether out to hike, mountain bike ride,
ski or stargaze. A sign-only or very small trade item cache.
An Adventure Pass is NOT required to access this cache. (See
(visit link) When placed, this cache contained a
small roll-o-log with stubby pencil and sharpener(please leave
these), P-38 can opener, compass zipper pull, Mountain Skies
Astronomical Society coin, small green cocktail monkey, rubberband
frog, Smokey Bear pin and a soccer ball eraser. Stop in passing to
visit the local green valleys and nordic ski area. If you get the
opportunity, bring a telescope up to the end of the road on a New
Moon weekend for some serious star-gazing. The cacche name is a
Latin phrase meaning "Through our efforts, we reach for the stars."

August 22, 2009 by Birchland (378 found) Grabbed this one with "No place to far" & "Addicted2climbing" while enjoying a great weekend of camping and home brews with the Maltose Falcons and good friends at the McGill campground. The cache did seem to be across the road from GZ, but an easy find thanks to the previous posts. TFTC.
