Come join us on April 16th from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Publix Super Market Community Meeting Room located at 4851 Whitesburg Drive South for the first gathering of the Southern Geocacher's Association.
This event will be open for all Geocachers to come and discuss the organization of the New: Southern Geocacher's Association.
Our main goal will be to promotes the sport of geocaching, educate new and continuing members in the sport and provide fun, creative and educational "event caches".
Southern Geocacher's Association.
Founded on the premise that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, the Southern Geocacher's Association is meant to complement the many state and local geocaching clubs and associations in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and Alabama by providing a structured site and organization for the coordination and promotion of multi-state, regional and inter-regional interests and events associated with recreational GPS use.
Participation at both the individual and organizational level is completely voluntary. Membership and participation are not limited to those who are physically located in the South, but be warned! If you spend much time here, before long you'll want to get in the moving van and buy a new home here, just to hang out with all your new friends down this way!
There will be three types of memberships:
SGA Founding Fathers Membership
SGA Voting Member
SGA Member
These along with other club information will be discussed at the Event.
