Bendigo Event Day 2011
Bendigo in Victoria is the third largest city in the state, and
also the states largest inland city. It has a population of around
120.000 people, and is one of the states top caching locations.
There are about 200 caches in the area, including one earthcache, a
letterbox cache, many puzzling puzzle caches, mastermind multis,
and tricky traditionals!
After the sucsess of Bendigo Event day 2010, we saw a record broken
for the largest non mega geocaching event in Australia. A total of
60 teams took part in the flashmob, then the Drive By Event, was a
smashing hit with around 55 people pulling up to recieve not a
quater pounder, but a geocaching log book! Then everyone got to
gather at a local pub for the third event where we all had a chance
to talk and recap the day. The local geocaches were over worked,
with filled out logbooks and cache trails as far as the eye can
see!
So lets all get ready for round two! This flash mob will open the
day, and will be held at 1pm Saturday The 26th
of February
In order to log this event and take part in it, you must show
up at the listed coordanites, you must act like normal shoppers,

group photo will mark the end of the flash mob. The case will

before the 15 minutes is up or you will miss out.
