Geocache Description:

Beware of Dogs!!

Growing up in an apartment in Queens, NY I had always dreamed of having a huge dog that would knock me over when I came home from school.  But with the tight confines of an apartment and the fact that my brother was allergic to dogs my dreams of having a faithful canine companion running around would have to wait until I moved out.  Instead we had a cat named Susie who ripped apart the furniture and was a miserable little kitty.
So after having moved out with my girlfriend into a two family house in NJ, I thought I would have to wait even longer until we bought a house to finally have my big, loveable dog.  To my surprise, our landlord had no problems with a dog but he hated cats so we were in luck!!  But we could only get a small dog rather than a big dopey large dog that I had dreamed of.  So we got our first little Yorkie London.
2 years later we get married and buy a home and end up getting a little brother to keep London company.  This is Monte (on the way to get a haircut).
Now it is 4 years later and we still have out little ankle biters running around and I couldn't be happier.  I have lost my desire to have a realy large dog after watching my neighbor picking up the huge mounds of poop that her 3 large dogs leave behind.  I only have tootsie roll size poops to pick up. But my little London is a fiesty little guy who definately is a large dog on the inside.  I just had to give the proper warning to anybody who dared to venture into our back yard. So I posted this sign on the fence.
This cache is dedicated to my little yorkies who run around barking like they are rottweilers  on guard duty.  This is an easy cache that will be fun for the whole family.  There are a few markers showing the way towards the cache.  When you park at the suggested parking area just take a short .3 mile hike on the YELLOW 1 trail which will bring you within a short distance of the cache.  Please do not move the cache container.  You will be able to open it in place.

Enjoy!!

Just Snoopin' for caches!!
