The architecturally designed walkway connects the main street (Maniapoto Street) with Wahanui Crescent and the historic Otorohanga Railway Station.
It is paved all the way through.
Not much opportunity to place a cache, but we found a spot.... up high, but where muggles may linger.....
Just be discrete please.
Oh, and BTW - check out the public toilets near the old Railway Station - they have to be the BEST in New Zealand!
We see a few “the co-ords are off” logs on this one. Remember, you are searching under a metal roof, between two high buildings. GPS technology does not work well in this environment (radio waves are reflected, so calculation timings are impacted).
The coordinates for the cache have been averaged over a long time with a quality GPS receiver, so are pretty close to the spot.
If you can’t find it – step out a few metres into the clear, wait for your receiver to settle, then walk in the correct direction.
If you still don’t see it, there is a hint – it is there for you to find the cache – please use it.
