Geocache Description:

Located atop Johnson Butte, elevation 2042', south of Kennewick. This cache was voted as the July 2007 Cache of the Month by the Washington State Geocaching Association!

Well here it is. I never thought I'd get to this point, but this is my 100th cache hide! Not all of those 100 are still active, though.

This one combines many of my favorites when it comes to places I like to go caching:

1. VERY LITTLE CHANCE OF MUGGLES

2. A VIEW

3. A BENCHMARK TO LOG

4. REALLY TALL RADIO TOWERS

5. BIGGER THAN A MICRO

Many of the Tri-Cities radio stations broadcast from this hump in the Horse Heaven Hills, including:

94.9 KIOK

101.3 KGDN

102.7 KORD

105.3 KONA

I've been fascinated with towers of all kinds as long as I can remember. I can't imagine being the radio technician that has to climb them though!

You're seeking a lock-n-lock style container with logbook, writing instrument and trading items. It is outside the fenced off area.

Look up on the roof, I wonder who gets their mail delivered here? I also wonder who operates the camera pointed toward town?

The road is worst at the beginning, it gets better as you go up. Might be tough during rainy weather, 4x4 would be helpful.
