Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

Yet another micro in yet another park...

Marijane Hamann Memorial Park is a fairly open medium-sized park tucked into San Jose suburbia. Go alone or with the whole family, and enjoy a day just hanging out in the park. The park is reasonably busy, but the cache is hidden such that it should be possible to discreetly acquire it at any time of day. The cache is visible, from the right point of view. It's a micro, but not your typical 35mm film canister. It's fairly durable, but not indestructible, and seals QUITE well, so please take care not to break it getting it open.

The cache is big enough to keep a few small trade items. We've seeded the cache with a pair of Warp Graphics/Elfquest pins, and our typical mini glowsticks.

The area in the immediate vicinity of the cache seems to be a neglected corner of the park, there are glass bottles and other such litter in abundance. Consider lending a hand and helping clean the area on your way back from the cache.

GPS reception in this area is also spotty, but should be good enough to get you the cache.

This is our first hide, so we welcome any feedback!
