An afterwork - shopping - architecture traditional cache.The hiding place is asphaltic und handicap free, but not totally plain.
Die Gasometer sind mit der Linie U3 öffentlich erreichbar (bitte bei der gleichnamigen Station aussteigen), stehen unter Denkmalschutz und beherbergen heute Büros, ein Einkaufszentrum, Wohnungen und ein Entertainment Center mit Kino. Der Cache ist eine flache Metalldose und ist mit Hilfe eines Magneten fixiert. Beim Versteck könnte der GPS-Empfang nicht ganz exakt sein. Sollte ein Finder "bessere" Koordinaten haben, ist er herzlich eingeladen sie im Log zu anzumerken (s.a. Note von Gumbo67 vom 17. Juli 2006).
The Gasometer can be reached by Tube U3 (please leave at the homonymous station). The objects are under monumental protection. Today you can find there business offices, a shopping center, flats and an entertainment center. If you want to know more about the Gasometer visit http://www.wiener-gasometer.at/.
The cache is a flat metal box. It is fixed with a magnet. The GPS-Reception at the hiding place could be weak. Everyone, who measures "better" coordinates is invited to make a remark in the log (please see also the note of Gumbo67 from 2006-07-17).
