Welcome to North Woodmere! This is the 117th micro in my series of visiting the different towns and villages on Long Island. This cache is a bison. It is an easy park and grab. Parking can be found close to GZ. Cache is available 24/7.
This cache can be found at Doxy Brook Fishing Park. This park is a special No-Kill Bass fishing area. A NYS fishing license is required to fish in this park. It's a catch and release area for you to practice your fishing skills. The season runs from the 1st Saturday in June through March 15th. Possession of bass on this lake or any other lake in Nassau County is prohibited. As with all of my micros, it contains a log only. So, please be sure to bring a writing utensil that can write on Tyvek. Please be stealthy when searching for the cache. Kindly return the cache to it’s original location.
