This is the second in the Zorro series.
This trail is very close to the house and Zorro the Wonderdog
and I hike this several times a month and never tire of it. Lots of
life and plants.
There is some hunting in the area so if you have a black dog I
suggest a bright bandana. At times hunters leave a carcass at the
beginning of the trail so I usually begin and end with Zorro on a
leash, but let him loose about 50 meters in.
The parking is on a dirt road but accessable by any vehicle.
GPS reception is difficult but you will know when to turn it on
and start looking for the cache, it's at the end of the trail. Once
you find the cache continue on about 10 meters and you will see a
second less obvious trail. This loops around and joins the main
trail and back to the car. Zorro and I do like our loops.
This is a fun hike and there is always a chance you will see
Zorro and me hiking it.
