Saturn-N.E.W. Solar System Series Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Astro_D: After two years being active, we decided that like life, all good things must come to an end.

We thank everyone who has visited Saturn and the rest of our NEW Solar System Series.

When we went to retrieve the final we were surprised to see it has migrated so far from its original placement. Oh well, this one is gone.

Geocache Description:

Saturn the Planet

Saturn, the ringed planet is the second largest planet in our solar system. It is roughly 74,898 miles in diameter or 120,536 Kilometers. Like Jupiter, it is a gas giant. Saturn currently has thirty named moons and three that are not. The extensive ring system is primarily water ice particles though there are some rocky particles as well. If compressed together in a ball, the ring system would only be about 62 miles in diameter. This is a very nice planet to see in a telescope.

Saturn the Cache

A five stage multi with log books in four of the five containers. This one takes you along a nice, well marked walking trial. The area is popular with fishermen, and people who enjoy a nice walk so you do need to pay careful attention for muggle activity. Typically, you need not venture very far off trail but the hides are well concealed. Please take care in replacing them as you found them so muggles do not stumble upon them by accident. We have a nice little twist waiting for you on this cache as well. Enjoy!
