What does the name of the cache mean? It should make sense when you see the cache container. Please leave the area around the cache as you found it (except for removing trash, of course) in order to maintain the same level of fun/challenge/difficulty for other cachers.
A medium-sized Rubbermaid container hidden in a wooded upland area of Barcroft Park in Arlington.
For a nice hike in woods, park at the Barcroft Park Recreation Center parking lot off of Four Mile Run Drive and walk across the weir (don’t try to cross in high water) and up the hill to the cache (less than half a mile). For a quicker route, park on South 23rd Street in the Claremont neighborhood. The cache is located just off a small trail, so no bushwhacking is required.
The park is closed from a half hour after sunset to sunrise. Please don't try this one at night.
My first regular-sized (non-micro) cache hide. Enjoy!
