Located on a hill overlooking a track, where there are usually people running or walking around it. From where we parked at N32 44.997 W116 56.440 it's a 1 mile round trip.
I don't understand why anyone would choose to just go around in circles on a track when there are lots of nearby trails that they could be using instead. Especially when so many wild flowers are starting to bloom now. The cache is in an ammo box, not too far from a trail, and contains an assortment of swag. Rattlesnakes do live in this area, so use caution. It's an easy trail for the most part, though there is a little uphill climbing at the end. Don't forget to stop and enjoy the view!
There have been a number of comments about closer parking. This is true. However, if you don't have a sticker, you may get a ticket or get towed.
