This cache is located at a riverside park just outside the town centre.
The old towpath beside the river is now used as a river walk. This path follows the river all the way to Clonmel. During periods of prolonged rainfall the whole area can become flooded and access may be restricted.
If you have time - check out the designs on the other large rocks along the pathway.
Carrick is situated on the main N24, 20km northwest of Waterford and 15km east of Clonmel.
The cache is a camouflaged film canister. BYOP.
