The rocks are pretty cool along this ridge of Copper Mine Hill. As you might expect from the name, this is an area rich in minerals. Those who know what to look for can find Actinolite, Azurite, Chalcopyrite, Epidote, Hornblende, Magnetite, Malachite, Botryoidal, and of course CUMBERLANDite.by( WaldenRun )it ..April Fools were we to visit this conservation land when we did. The walk was great along Sneech Pond, meaning "rocks at the outlet" in the Algonquin language. With over 100 acres of protected watershed and oak/hickory forest the trail was cool. There are some big trees in there. I walked the path as ~m scrambled to the cache. Sneechteconnet is a local name for the great river we call the Blackstone.
