Geocache Description:

Come join us Sunday August 24, 2014 to give back to Mother Nature and the Jefferson City Parks & Recreation Department that supports our hobby so well. 

The Details


We will meet at 12 pm at the front of the pavilion at McClung Park on the east side of Jefferson City. We will distribute trash bags and gloves to all attendees at this point. We will bring all our trash bags back to the parking lot for collection.

Every Good Event Planner Knows You've Gotta Have Food!

There will also be refreshments in the air conditioned pavilion at the posted coordinates around 1 pm! Lazy Lightning will provide hot dogs, chips, baked beans and soda for everyone attending, while yoyoteacher will bring some delicious baked goods for dessert.

We're Kickin' Trash & Taking Names!

The only thing we ask in return is a will attend be posted by a few days prior to give us ample time to plan accordingly. Feel free to stick around and enjoy the social hour as well as a break from the late August heat after some time spent giving back.
