Geocache Description:

This cache was placed in the Sulphur Springs picnic area, which is located just off of the Crest Road in the Sandia Mountains.  My grandaughters assisted me in the placement.  They know that I am somewhat addicted to geocaching, so they gave me a "kissing fish" for a geocache placement.  The cache container is a camo taped metal tin, that a wallet was sold in.  The best parking for this cache is the main entrance to the picnic area.  It is a short hike from there, south on the paved road. It originally was placed so that it was a real short jaunt up the hill to the west.  This was originally meant to be a fairly easy placement, for those who need a quick COTD, and for kids who would find this as a QEF.  However, the Alpine Reviewer informed me that it was less than 150' from an unpublished segment of a mult-cache. I therefore moved the cache about 200 yards further to the west up the steep hill. For the "hearty cachers", this should take about 20-30 minutes round-trip from the parking lot. Take your time and "see the forest for the trees". There is room for small SWAG.  Beginning SWAG is The Kissing Fish, a Canadian "Loonie" one dollar coin, and a Canadian "Toonie" two dollar coin.  We all hope you enjoy the hunt!

*****Congratulations to Cyclegreen for the FTF!!!*****
