The cache is located in the Green Swamp East Tract, a part of the Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve. During the rainy season, expect wet conditions and mosquitoes so don’t forget the insect repellent and bring plenty of water. Main vehicle access on south side of Green Swamp on Rock Ridge Road, approximately 10 miles northeast of US 98 and 6 miles west of SR 33. Small day-use parking area located at Rock Ridge gate.Hours of Operation:Daily from sunrise to sunset, except during hunts.During hunting season, hikers encouraged to wear 500 square inches of blaze orange clothing above the waist.

This is a long, hot, shadeless 4-mile trek down a hard two-track. Bicycles are all but necessary, unless you feel like an 8 mile jog.
The lake is pristine. Crystal clear and seemingly bottomless. Worth the effort.
There is no water.
Bring water.
Take at least 2 water bottles per person. If it's a hot summer day, you better make it three.
I always take my camel pak and a water bottle and usually go through both of them.
If you're gonna explore some of the neighboring caches, bring even more water. I've gotten somewhat lost out here. It's a bad feeling to be 4 hours from the car without water.

Where would a wood duck duck if a wood duck could duck wood?

I had been out here once before and found a few select hides here an there. I was able to get them all today except one.... Just gives me an excuse to come back. : )

I was a lil hesitant to look in the object in question as I thought it may be Occupodo, it was but just with a few carpenter ants. Doesnt look as iof they have done any damage. Took TB

Beautiful November morning today. Sunny and cool. Signed log, Thanks for the hide.

Love the container. It was full of red ants though. Not in the container, but on it. Traded TB's and off I go. TFTH

This was one of the best caches I have found to date. All the details were well thought out and the long road out was a pleasure after finding this cache. Traded TB's TFTC

I thought this cache was very well though out. I enjoyed finding it. The walk to it however was pretty hot and sunny. I also picked up the Eenis Bodeenis coin. Thank you for the cache.
