Geocache Description:

A small group/class to learn about the infamous GSAK program that is often used in Geocaching.

I am aware that this is a bit of a Short Notice (and I apologize....) but a newer member at the forums that I host has been Gracious enough to offer to teach a little class to help me ~ and hopefully some others ~ learn about the GSAK (Geocache Swiss Army Knife) software program.

The teacher for this Class/Seminar will be siameseretriever, and his name is Joe. He has offered to teach a beginner/Basic class to get folks to understand what GSAK has to offer. I, as the host of the Forums, offered to make this an Official Event Cache for cachers. So here we have it. This Event Cache will be hosted at:

the Romeoville Public Library, Located at:

201 Normantown Road, Romeoville, IL, 60446. 2:00 PM - 4:30 ish PM.

The listed coordinates were taken from Microsoft's Streets and Trips 2010 program and you should be able to find your way there with a regular Handheld GPS'r as used for caching. Otherwise, set that Address into a Car GPSr, and you're sure to find the destination. (the car GPSr is how I intend to make the trip!)

This Short Notice is likely going to prove prudent, for we Are limited to the first 15 folks that sign up. Although this is going to be a Limited class/seminar, we are hoping that a few of you will be able to join us for an informative time together to learn a bit about the GSAK program. As the Event Owner, I will be attending as a Student, and I am hoping some others will join us to learn. However, I myself also hope that maybe a couple of more experienced users of GSAK might also show up to share your own experience with GSAK as well. There is Always room to live and Learn from one another.

We hope to see you there!!!

I have a Forum set up for fellow Cachers to visit and chat with us. Certainly, this Event is a currently Active Topic. Please visit us at Kankakee County Cachers and Campers

We are reserved under the name Kankakee Geocachers, per Joe.

Running Attendee Tally (as the logs come in)= 6/7 Remember, Only 15 Capacity.
