Geocache Description:

Gerald's Griz MAY REQUIRE A WATERCRAFT APPROACH during part of the year....other parts of the year may require GOOD MUD SHOES or BOOTS!

Gerald's Griz Cache was named after my Uncle Gerald Wearley and a grizzly bear that killed some of his sheep AND was CAPTURED and KILLED less than 1/2 a mile from this spot! The difficulty of this cache is meant to reflect the challenge that livestock producers face raising livestock and dealing with the bears and wolves and other predetors along the Rocky Mountain Front.
This cache is in the area of Willow Creek Reservior, west of Augusta....
Go west out of Augusta, MT, towards Sun River Canyon...
