Eastern Oregon is a vast country of beautiful views, mother nature and wonderous animals. We took our boys out for a Eastern Oregon Hike and decided to place caches along the way for others to enjoy the views too. Play your cards right and there are 10 caches involved from Highway 395 up USFS 3963 and then park at the Y of USFS 3963 and USFS 40 (closed to motorized vehicles in winter.)
The caches are all camo'd to surroundings, no need to tear anything up. It took us 2 hours to do the hike itself and we had a 4 and 2 year old. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND packing some drinks and a lunch and binoculars. Have a lunch with the family while enjoying these amazing views of Eastern Oregon if you like, amazing family experience.
