Three Towers Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

A magnetic micro placed in the Ravenswood Open Space Preserve.

This cache at Ravenswood Preserve is back in business after the Cooley Landing construction. The preserve is currently accessible to visitors who are able to walk in. The gate to the designated parking area remains closed until the final touches at East Palo Alto's Cooley Landing Park are completed by their contractors (ETA is currently set for September 2012).

We were walking along the trail in the Ravenswood Open Space Preserve and heard the tell-tale crackling off power towers and thought we would place a cache.

The preserve is open from dawn until one half-hour after sunset. Parking for the preserve can be found at N37 28.549, W122 07.451.

In order to log this cache, you must actually find the cache and sign the log. Yes, this should be obvious, but at least one person has tried to claim a find after only spotting something that they thought was the cache without even touching the container, or signing the log.
