Congress Athletic Field is used but not much. The Field had a Running Track which has over grown with grass. Now the Field is used for Practice of little leages of Football and Soccer.
Congress Athletic Field has poor drainage, so when it rains, the Field gets Flooded. Not deep, but enough to get your feet wet. Wearing Gloshes is advised after a good rain.
There was a Cache located in this Field, but has been disabled. So this gave me the opportunity to place one in it's place.
I'm using this great opportunity to help those to fine tune their Triangulation Cache finds. Many times I have been asked "How do you find a Cache when the GPSr is jumping around and won't settle down?"
Congress Athletic Field is known to have the GPSr jump around and not pin point the exact location of the Cache. I placed the Cache in the middle of many trees to give this a realistic Triangulation to challenge your skills.
For those that don't know, or have not done a Triangulation, I'll briefly discribe it for you. When you are seaching for a Cache and the Coordinates are putting you in different locations, try using Tiangulation. To triangulate, move to different areas surrounding the area you believe the Cache most likely would be located. Check your footage between YOUR location and the possible location of the Cache. Eventually your footage will narrow down and get you closer to the Cache location.
