Geocache Description:

This puzzle cache will help you get to know one of Milford's most famous residents, and then you will get to meet him in person.

This cache will take you to two places where you will learn about the Man of Milford, and then you will finally go to see him for yourself. At the first two stages you will read information about him that will help you along your way, but there are no cache containers to be found there. The only physical cache container, a micro with the log sheet, is found at the final.

Start your mission by going to the posted coordinates and gathering important information, noting the important landmark nearby and reading the historical marker. Here you will learn the name of the Man of Milford. Take note of the first year given on the sign, call its first two digits AA and its last two digits BB. Take note of the second year on the sign, and call its last two digits CC. Add eleven to BB to get DD. To get the coordinates for the next location, go to N 41° AA.8DD W 074° 48.0CC

You'll need to drive to the next location, but it's not far. At this spot you'll see another historical marker with a little more information about the Man of Milford. Look at the year of his birth - call the middle two digits of this year EE. Look at the year printed at the end of the last sentence on the sign - call its last two digits FF. Now you can drive to the final coordinates: N 41° 18.EE0 W 074° 48.2FF. Here you will meet the Man of Milford and find this cache.

This cache's terrain rating is because you need to use a car to go between stages. All three stages could be wheelchair accessible.
