Easy find, can be very muddy, nice views of the Second Severn Crossing and Grey Hill
This is our first Cache, placed on a path that can be used for a number of different circular walks. It's named after one of my parents' Golden Guernsey Goats, who you might hear if she's calling my mum as you walk past. Very easy to get to, just off the M4 at the first junction in Wales.
Recommended parking is at N51 35.205, W002 49.333, which is on the bridge over the M4 and the last place wide enough to park easily. You can drive further, but please don't park in the gateways as they are needed for access and passing points on the narrow lane. The cache is in a field, on a footpath... It'll probably be quite muddy and the cows can be very friendly!! Don't worry if they come near, they're more scared of you than you think.
The Cache is a lunch box sized container, which was completely full when we placed it. The original contents are
Log Book
Coloured Pencils
Pen
Pencil Sharpener
bubbles
Strange Fimo thing from Chile that we picked up at Jurrasic Park cache in Hawaii
Newport Wetlands Leaflet
2 British Goat Society Leaflets
Canada GeoCoin
Purpley BunBun TravelBug
Aloha TravelBug
Milly the Travelling Goat TravelBug
For a bit of a longer walk, it's possible to continue down the field and out onto the lane. Turn left and keep going straight over the crossroads. A bridleway through the first farm on your right will take you up into the woods to get the Night Glo cache, can be very muddy though.
